Three ships brought the settlers to Jamestown in 1607.  Pictured above is a replica one of the three, the Susan Constant.  The other two were the Godspeed and the Discovery.

The actual site of Jamestown was not discovered until 1994.  The Jamestown Rediscovery Project was undertaken by Dr. William Kelso.  This photo was taken on May 24, 2010.  As you can see, rediscovery is on-going.
